Closed lifebuoy cabinet for maritime safety
Closed lifebuoy cabinet for maritime safety
From design to delivery, we produce robust, reliable and fully customised lifebuoy cabinets, specifically designed for use in demanding maritime environments.
Production process
The plastic used has been specially developed with high UV resistance (UV20), ensuring that the striking red colour remains visible for a long time, even with constant exposure to sun and salt water. This is essential for visibility and safety on site.
Unique technical specifications
Each lifebuoy cabinet consists of two parts: a cover and a back panel. These are carefully assembled by us and fitted with hinges and a locking tab, ensuring secure and intuitive closure — quick and easy to open, even in emergency situations.
- Material: High-quality plastic with UV20 protection,
resistant to years of exposure to
sun, salt and wind. - Ease of use: Intuitive design, easy and quick to open in an emergency.
- Assembly: Internal mounting of cover and rear, with hinges and locking tab for secure closure.
Moulds
This project comprises four moulds:
- Front: One mould for the cover
- Rear: Three moulds, each with a different recess, so that the cabinet can be mounted on different standardised posts.
Realisation
We have two components for producing the cabinet: the top and the back. We have three variants for the back, each with a different recess for assembly. A unique feature of this project is the innovative, interchangeable part in the mould for the back. This allows us to produce multiple cabinet sizes with a single basic shape. This provides greater flexibility and a more efficient production process.
