Production process

The plastic used has been specially developed with high UV resistance (UV20), ensuring that the striking red colour remains visible for a long time, even with constant exposure to sun and salt water. This is essential for visibility and safety on site.

Unique technical specifications

Each lifebuoy cabinet consists of two parts: a cover and a back panel. These are carefully assembled by us and fitted with hinges and a locking tab, ensuring secure and intuitive closure — quick and easy to open, even in emergency situations.

Moulds

This project comprises four moulds:

  • Front: One mould for the cover
  • Rear: Three moulds, each with a different recess, so that the cabinet can be mounted on different standardised posts.

Realisation

We have two components for producing the cabinet: the top and the back. We have three variants for the back, each with a different recess for assembly. A unique feature of this project is the innovative, interchangeable part in the mould for the back. This allows us to produce multiple cabinet sizes with a single basic shape. This provides greater flexibility and a more efficient production process.
